Aloha and Welcome to Island Sun Coffee Island Sun Coffee is a family owned and operated farm. Our farm is located on the Island of Hawaii, on the slopes of Mt. Hualalai, above (mauka) Keauhou Bay on the Kona Coast. Our coffee is grown under a canopy of Monkey Pod trees; this combined with the rich volcanic soil provides the perfect growing conditions for our 100% Arabica coffee. As the coffee ripens, it is hand picked, then milled. We mill with an Eco-friendly processing system that allows us to conserve water as well as filter and separate the solids (coffee cherry pulp) that are used in our organic composting system. After the beans ferment for a period up to 15 hours, the beans are then washed and slowly dried by the warm Hawaiian Sun. Island Sun Coffee
